This Night by Michael Fantina

This riven realm will face thee then
Though some incredible glamour,
This night across the shadowed moor,
Beyond the ghoul infested fen.

With none to aid thee ere the dawn
Comes tripping up here easterly,
Out of this cold twice haunted sea,
To splash its glow across the lawn.

This night a witch shall lead thee there,
She is petite and girlish, bold,
Her nose ring is a hoop of gold
And braided is her scarlet hair.

This riven realm will face thee then
And she shall be thy paramour
This night across the shadowed moor,
Hard by the ghoul infested fen!
